Rooney...

How Ferguson can defend the scouse git after his "challenge" yesterday against Wigan, I find it abhorrent the Sir Al' can defend him.

Many United fans will probably point to the press the same as their gracious boss did on SSN after yesterdays game, but it sickens me.

He may well get off scot-free, as it appears that every big named players mate Clattenburg clearly saw the incident and didn't feel it warranted any punishment. Another dose of the big boys getting all the decisions? I certainly think so!

Villa 4 - 1 Rovers

Having zero cash and spending the few days before the game in sunny York, I didn't travel to Villa Park today to see us face the Villains AGAIN (I know it's said all the time but it REALLY does feel like we play them every week)!

I had the (miss)fortune of watching the gave live on the (ahem) internet, and wished I hadn't if the truth be told!

I don't really want to dwell that much on this result as it'll only make me feel depressed all over again...but WTF does Keith come as week after week? The guy has really really REALLY gone past his sell-by-date now...but why is Sam and Kean(taro) seem so happy with him playing and seeming to have so much of the ball?

The penalty was just cringe worthy, and there was in many ways even worse delivered from the Irishman in the first half...gifting the ball away several times, almost leading to a goal on a couple of occasions. It just got worse and worse for him.

Nelsen wasn't too clever either yesterday, but I do feel for Ryan having to play next to both Hanley and Olsson. Hanley doesn't seem good enough just yet, and Olsson is NOT A LEFT BACK! Hopefully the return of Givet should alleviate much of this (although it'll be one game more because of Sir Ryan's suspension).

Pedersen looked like a wet lettuce yet again, and seems to be going backwards rapidly.

The energetic and exuberant performance against Liverpool now seems like a fond and distant memory, and all life seems to have been sucked out of the club. Jermaine Jones also looks like he may now be a false dawn after a good début against West Brom, seems to have faded and may not be up to the task of Premier League football.

"Marque" signing Santa Cruz now also seems like a flash in the pan, and his proneness to injury continues to blight the talented South American's career.

I feel for Kean in many ways, he's a victim of circumstance...circumstances meaning that he has been placed in charge of a Premier League club with no experience of front-line management, and with seemingly few motivational skills. I don't blame him for taking up the job, but Venky's now seem the most culpable in all of this, and now have all Blackburn fans worried for the future.

I think we'll be OK this season, as a couple more wins should see us through, but if big changes aren't made in the summer, then I would be very worried!

Feel free to comment, and as it's my first blog please be kind :)
